Securing funding is one of the biggest challenges in documentary filmmaking. To support emerging creators and professionals navigating this complex process, DocsBarcelona is hosting an online workshop led by filmmaker, consultant and editor Jane Mote.

The session, titled Finding the Money: A Guide to Funding for Emerging Documentary Makers, will break down key strategies and resources for accessing financial support for documentary projects. With a strong commitment to nurturing new voices in European documentary cinema, DocsBarcelona offers this workshop to provide participants with practical tools, insight, and clear guidance on identifying and applying for international funding opportunities.
