Open Calls: Bio to B | Doc 2026

Our member festival Biografilm Festival has opened the calls for Bio to B – Industry Days | Doc, which will take place from 8 to 10 June 2026 in Bologna, Italy.

European documentary producers and creative teams are invited to apply for two industry opportunities:

Pitching Forum
The central public presentation moment of Bio to B – Industry Days | Doc, where up to 20 European documentary and docu-series projects are presented to an international audience of producers, commissioning editors, sales agents, festival representatives and institutions. Selected teams participate in the Pitching Lab, an online preparation programme, followed by Q&A sessions and one-to-one meetings with attending industry experts.

Co-Production Corner
A new initiative dedicated to European producers looking for Italian co-production partners, offering curated meetings with Italian industry professionals.

Applications are free of charge and subject to selection.
