Biography
Gailė Garnelytė graduated in screenwriting from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. She has worked as a screenwriter on short films and TV series/programmes, and as a script supervisor on documentary films, including an IDFA Best Student Film award winner. Gailė’s first self-directed short documentary travelled to over 30 international festivals and received two awards for Best Documentary Short. In 2025, she completed her first feature-length documentary In Passing.
