Biography
László Halász is a Hungarian-born documentary filmmaker and photographer currently based in Munich, Germany. He worked as a cinematographer on László Bihari’s No Country for the Poor and Sári Haragonics’s Don’t Worry, Sari!, which won the Audience Award at the 2025 Verzió International Film Festival.
His first independently directed film, This Cannot Be Atoned For, received the Honest Emotions Special Award at the MEDIAWAVE International Film and Music Gathering and the Best Portrait Film Award at the Bujtor István Film Festival in 2022.
He is a member of the Hungarian Documentary Association since 2022"
