Biography
Mar Garro Lleonart (Barcelona, 1997) is an emerging filmmaker graduated in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University. Her debut feature documentary Dabruneba (2025) premiered at DocsBarcelona after participating in international development labs such as Ji.hlava and Reykjavík. She is currently developing her new project, There Is a Light, which she presented at DocsBarcelona Talents in 2024. The project received the Utopía Ojo y Oreja Award, granting her a scholarship to study at EICTV (Cuba) in 2026.
