Biography
Max Ramier was born near Saint-Étienne. After earning a bachelor’s degree in film studies in Lyon, he continued his theoretical studies in Marseille with a first year of a master’s degree in film research. He then joined the inaugural class of CinéFabrique Marseille. It was there that the opportunity arose to direct his first short documentary. Max returned to his native region to film Libre, a portrait of his uncle.
