Biography
Paul is a Berlin-born cinematographer and documentary director. Trained as an architect and photographer in New York, he graduated from Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2025. His work combines documentary and fictional approaches, shaped by research, visual curiosity and his experiences living across Europe, the United States and Southern Africa. His cinematography and films have been presented at institutions and festivals including Neue Nationalgalerie Berlin, Kunsthalle Basel, Toronto International Film Festival, The New York Times and the Julia Stoschek Foundation.
