Biography
Pierre Tremerel was born in 1990 in Nice, France. In 2015, he obtained a Master 2 in Performing Arts with a specialization in documentary filmmaking from the University of Liège (Belgium), before joining the Master of Creative Documentary program in Lussas (University of Grenoble), from which he graduated in 2016.
For several years, he has been working on a documentary film project in Indonesia with refugees from East Timor. This first feature documentary, titled Api Penyucian (The Purgatory), will be broadcast on Lyon Capitale TV in 2026.
Pierre now lives and works in Marseille. His upcoming projects, including Miki Zoo and Oboradaren, will be co-written and co-directed with Camille Holtz.
