Biography

Felix has a deep connection to the South Pacific, with strong family ties to Vanuatu, which has influenced his work as a documentary filmmaker. He discovered his passion for non-fiction cinema through a documentary project in 2013 and developed his skills through self-study and graduate studies at the Filmacademy Baden-Wuerttemberg. Felix's work focuses on creating intimate, empathetic portraits of hopeful protagonists, drawing the audience into their worlds. His cinéma vérité style emphasises authenticity, capturing the raw beauty and sounds of life to evoke emotion. For Felix, empathy begins with listening and understanding, allowing stories to shape society.
