Biography
Trained as a screenwriter, Julia began by writing fiction. She soon realized that what drives her in cinema is to take a look at the world through human adventures rooted in reality. In 2019, she moves to Quebec to study documentary filmmaking techniques at EMCV - School. In summer 2020, a serious event upsets her family. It will become the subject of her first short film. With “Soeurs”, Julia takes the time and distance to extend this first raw gesture into a longer, more ambitious form.
